Tenants & Screening

What Landlords Should Look for Before Saying Yes to a Tenant

Tenant approval deserves more than a quick look at a payslip. Landlords should understand who is applying, whether the rental appears affordable, whether the information supplied can be verified and whether the applicant's rental history supports the application.

Consistency matters. Names, employment information, income, references and supporting documents should tell a coherent story.

Where something does not make sense, clarify it before making the decision rather than after occupation.
