LeasePilot Services
LeasePilot provides professional lease management for landlords who want to remain involved in their property without carrying the day-to-day administrative burden.
You manage the property. We manage the lease.
LeasePilot supports the rental lifecycle by managing the administration, communication, coordination and follow-up associated with an active lease.
Our lease management services include:
Tenant application and screening administration
Lease preparation and administration
Lease signing coordination
Landlord and tenant communication
Maintenance administration and coordination
Arrears monitoring and credit-control follow-up
Utilities administration and record keeping
Body corporate and HOA correspondence and fines administration
Lease renewal administration
Notice and termination administration
Deposit reconciliation administration
Rental records and administrative follow-up
The landlord remains responsible for physical property management activities including property viewings, inspections, key handovers and final decisions relating to repairs, expenditure and tenant approval.
Maintenance is one of the most time-consuming parts of managing a rental property. LeasePilot manages the administration and coordination around maintenance while the landlord remains in control of repair and expenditure decisions.
1. The issue is reported
The tenant or landlord reports the maintenance issue to LeasePilot with the relevant information and supporting details.
2. We assess and record the request
LeasePilot records the issue, gathers the necessary information and determines the appropriate next administrative step.
3. Contractor coordination
Where required, LeasePilot coordinates with the landlord's approved contractor or an appropriate service provider to arrange an assessment, quotation or access.
4. You remain in control
Where landlord approval is required, the relevant information or quotation is presented to the landlord before work proceeds.
5. We follow through
LeasePilot follows up on contractor attendance, repairs and outstanding actions and maintains a record of the maintenance process.
Our role is to reduce the administration, communication and follow-up involved in maintenance without taking control of your property away from you.
Landlords and tenants can report maintenance relating to a registered LeasePilot property through Client Access.
LeasePilot uses a fixed monthly fee per active lease rather than charging a percentage of the monthly rental.
This provides landlords with a more predictable management cost while allowing them to remain actively involved in the decisions that affect their property.
Why should your management fee increase simply because your rent does?
Most residential landlords can expect professional LeasePilot management to cost a few hundred rand per month per active lease, depending on service requirements and property circumstances.
Third-party services such as tenant screening, document services, legal services, contractors and other external service-provider charges may be charged separately where applicable. Any applicable charges will be disclosed as part of the relevant process.
LeasePilot is designed for landlords who want professional support without handing over every aspect of their property to a traditional managing agent.
LeasePilot may be a good fit if you want to remain involved in your rental property but would prefer someone else to manage the administration, communication, coordination and follow-up associated with the lease.
If your property is already registered with LeasePilot, use Client Access for landlord services, tenant services and maintenance reporting.
